Introducing our MC for the Arab American Heritage Gala

12696444_10209328129860817_709986817_oWe are very excited to announce that the MC for our upcoming inaugural Arab American Heritage Gala, which will be held this Sunday, April 24 at the Pacific Hills Banquet Hall, will be Ms. Rita Garabet.

Rita Garabet is a first-generation Lebanese American from Los Angeles County. She has been involved with the Lebanese Collegiate Network, choreographed Dabke numbers for cultural events, held executive positions for youth organizations, and has represented Lebanese Californians at international beauty pageant competitions. Rita is a graduate of the University of Redlands, earning a degree in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Psychology. She anticipates going to dental school this fall. Rita has a passion for community service, and has involved herself with a wide range of volunteer efforts including advocating for vehicle safety awareness, educating children on proper oral health, and chaperoning at Our Own Family Camp for families with a member affected by Down Syndrome. Rita is heavily involved with the Miss America Organization, and is currently preparing for the Miss California competition this summer.
