More than a hundred people gathered on Monday, June 27th at Little Arabia’s Olive Tree Restaurant in Anaheim to help welcome refugees to Southern California. ‘Iftar with Refugees’ brought together a diverse group of Southern California residents with 5 refugee families (total of 28 refugees) from Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan.
Refugee families were given the opportunity to share their stories with the attendees while sharing a meal together during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.
