Finally, some good news from a local Representative.

Congresswoman Judy Chu, who represents California’s 27th district, is the first Southern California-based Member of Congress to co-sponsor H.R. 2590 The Palestinian Children and Families Act.

Please take a moment to call and email Rep. Chu to thank her for her courageous stance.

Call Representative Judy Chu at (202) 225-5464 and thank her for defending human rights in Palestine by co-sponsoring H.R. 2590.

You can use the following script when you call:
“My name is ____ and I am a constituent. I am calling to sincerely thank Representative Chu for making history as the first Southern California co-sponsor of H.R. 2590, the Palestinian Children and Families Act. In co-sponsoring this bill, Representative Chu took a crucial step toward advancing the human rights of Palestinian children and families, who continue to endure ethnic cleansing and genocide funded by our taxpayer dollars here in the United States. Just last month, the Israeli Defense Forces murdered 256 Palestinians, including 66 children, who were born entrapped behind fences and walls, mass incarcerated in the Gaza Strip. As the group Human Rights Watch has documented, Palestinians face systemic apartheid at the hands of the state of Israel. I want to thank Representative Chu for her political courage in taking a stand for Palestinian children and families, and I want to encourage her to continue to be a strong advocate for Palestinian human rights, freedom, and reparations. Thank you again.”

Email Rep. Chu, if you’re a constituent by contacting her via this link.
