A Historic Celebration of Little Arabia

The Arab American Civic Council was proud to host the official Little Arabia Celebration on Friday, October 28, 2022, which marked ‘Vote Early Day’, a civc holiday focused on helping every voter know how, where, and when they can vote early.

Hundreds of community and supporters of Little Arabia gathered to celebrate the city of Anaheim’s formal designation of Little Arabia, while also highlighting the importance of staying civically-engaged.

Syrian Hip-Hop artist and poet Omar Offendum kept the large crowd engaged and entertained, while DJ Lady E provided us sounds and music that kept us dancing throughout the night. The event concluded with a spectacular Dabkeh performance by Sa’id Judeh Dance Company which highlighted the spirit our community’s culture. We also had the honor of hosting Anaheim City Council Members who were recognized for their support in executing the official designation of Little Arabia.

This event was hosted in partnership with MTV’s Vote Early Day and co-sponsored by Alkam Law Offices.
