Once again, the Arab American Civic Council is excited to mobilize cities and communities to celebrate April as Arab American Heritage Month, as we have done since 2016 with resolutions passed in the State of California and as well as a dozen cities in Southern California.
This year, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors recognized Arab American Heritage Month for the first time in LA County’s history. In addition, the cities of Anaheim, Fullerton, Irvine, Buena Park, Garden Grove, Culver City, Bell, Glendale and many more have proclaimed April 2023 Arab American Heritage Month.
To celebrate Arab American Heritage Month, the Arab American Civic Council is hosting an Open Mic night titled ‘Hakawati’ on Saturday, April 29. To purchase your ticket, please click here.
