Layali Little Arabia was a huge success — bringing together thousands of people to celebrate our culture, resilience, and community pride on the 3rd anniversary of Little Arabia’s historic designation.

On Saturday, August 23, 2025, thousands gathered at Anaheim’s Modjeska Park to celebrate the third anniversary of the historic designation of Little Arabia at Layali Little Arabia festival.
The evening opened with a panel discussion on the history of Little Arabia, highlighting the decades-long fight for recognition and honoring the advocates and community members who made this milestone possible.
The celebration continued with unforgettable cultural performances. The Mawtini Choir filled the air with beautiful traditional Arabic songs and dabkeh dance, while the Al-Akhbar band energized the crowd with their unique fusion of jazz and Arab sound.

Guests also enjoyed a vibrant marketplace featuring more than 50 vendors, including beloved local restaurants like House of Mandi, Knafeh Cafe, and Little Arabia Restaurant, offering food, desserts, and cultural treasures that reflect the diversity of our community.
We were honored to welcome local elected leaders including Anaheim Councilmember Carlos Leon, Santa Ana Councilmember Jessie Lopez, the office of Orange County Supervisor Doug Chaffee, AUHSD Trustee Jessica Guerrero, Buena Park Mayor Joyce Ahn, Vice Mayor Connor Trout, and Councilmembers Susan Sonne, and Lamiya Hoque, and representatives from the offices of State Senator Tom Umber, State Assemblymember Sharon Quirk-Silva, and County Supervisor Vicente Sarmiento.
None of this would have been possible without the support of our sponsors, volunteers, vendors, performers, and community members. Together, we created a night that showcased the strength, joy, and cultural richness of Little Arabia — and proved once again that our community’s story is one of resilience and unity.
Special thanks to the sponsors of Layali Little Arabia:
