Arab American Civic Council canvassers connect with thousands of Orange County voters
As we enter the final stretch before Election Day—now just one week away—our Get Out The Vote (GOTV) campaign is operating at full speed across Southern California. Building on the findings from our 2025 California Arab American Voter Survey, which showed that over 95% of Arab American respondents voted in 2024 and nearly 92% intend to participate in 2026, our grassroots efforts are turning community passion into decisive civic action.
Our team of dedicated canvassers has been on the ground every day, engaging directly with community members through door-to-door canvassing. Importantly, our canvassing reaches beyond Arab voters alone—we are actively engaging anti-war and pro-peace allies across Anaheim, Santa Ana, and Orange who share a commitment to justice and human rights. Together, we have knocked on doors and spoken face-to-face with over 7,000 voters. These critical conversations ensure our neighborhood concerns, civil rights, and community priorities remain front and center this election cycle.

In addition to our field work, our digital and outreach operations have connected with tens of thousands of voters through targeted phone banking and text messaging. These efforts directly address the key priorities identified in our voter survey—where respondents overwhelmingly cited Jobs & the Economy (84%), Gaza (81.6%), Inflation (78.9%), Taxes (76.3%), and Civil Liberties & Free Speech (76.3%) as their top issues. By providing essential voting information, drop-box locations, and issue-focused reminders, we are empowering every eligible voter to make their voice heard at the ballot box.
Our impactful organizing and the growing influence of our electorate recently gained media attention. We were featured in an article by L.A. Taco, which highlights how Arab American voters in Los Angeles and the surrounding region are prioritizing key policy issues, including justice for Gaza and civil rights accountability, as crucial deciding factors in this election.
With Election Day only seven days away, every single vote matters. Whether you plan to vote by mail, drop off your ballot, or vote in person, make sure your voice is counted. Your vote is your power—cast your ballot today!
