Youyour family, and our community matter. Your response helps to direct billions of dollars in federal funds to our local communities for schools, roads, and other public services. The results will be used the determine the number of seats each state has in Congress and your representation at all levels of government.

If you are wondering how to ensure your race & ethnicity is captured correctly, be sure to rely on this resource.

The Census is translated in 12 languages.

This year’s online form is available in Arabic, Spanish, Chinese (simplified), Vietnamese, Korean, Russian, Tagalog, Polish, French, Haitian Creole, Portuguese, and Japanese. Families can now complete the Census over the phone in these languages. Additionally, the Census has resources translated into 59 non-English languages to help individuals who speak other languages be counted.
